Supply Chain

Introduction

At Launch & Grow, we are committed to maintaining high ethical standards across all aspects of our operations. This includes a strict commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our supply chain. We recognise the importance of transparency and responsibility in sourcing goods and services, and we strive to ensure that modern slavery does not exist within our operations or the operations of our suppliers.

Purpose

This policy outlines our approach to combating modern slavery, including forced labour, human trafficking, and other forms of exploitation within our supply chain. It aims to provide clear guidelines for our employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to understand their role in addressing this issue.

Definition of Modern Slavery

Modern slavery encompasses various forms of exploitation, including:

  • Slavery: This is when individuals are forced to work without the freedom to leave or refuse work.

  • Human Trafficking: The illegal movement of people for exploitation.

  • Forced Labor: People are coerced or manipulated into working under duress.

  • Child Labor: The exploitation of children in the workforce.

  • Debt Bondage: Situations where individuals are forced to work to pay off a debt that they cannot realistically repay.

Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring that modern slavery is not present in our operations or supply chain. To achieve this, we will:

  • Conduct Due Diligence: Assess the practices of our suppliers to ensure they are compliant with anti-slavery laws and best practices.

  • Supplier Audits: Regularly audit our suppliers to ensure they adhere to our standards on modern slavery.

  • Collaboration: Work with our suppliers, contractors, and partners to raise awareness and promote good practices that eliminate the risk of modern slavery.

  • Transparency: Promote transparency within our supply chain and make our efforts to combat modern slavery public when possible.

Supplier Expectations

We expect our suppliers and contractors to:

  • Comply with Laws: Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding labour practices, human trafficking, and modern slavery.

  • Provide Clear Information: Supply information regarding the working conditions within their operations, including any sub-suppliers or third-party labor providers.

  • Ensure Ethical Practices: Take steps to prevent any form of modern slavery within their operations and in those of their suppliers.

  • Report Concerns: Inform us immediately if they become aware of any potential instances of modern slavery or human trafficking in their supply chain.

Risk Assessment

We will carry out regular risk assessments to identify areas of our supply chain that may be vulnerable to modern slavery. This includes considering factors such as:

  • The geographical regions where suppliers are based, especially where modern slavery is known to be prevalent.

  • The types of products and services supplied, focusing on industries where exploitation is more likely.

  • The size and complexity of our suppliers and their sub-suppliers.

Reporting and Whistleblowing
We provide mechanisms for reporting concerns about modern slavery. Employees and suppliers can report concerns via:

Reports will be treated confidentially and without retaliation.

Review and Monitoring

This policy will be reviewed annually to assess its effectiveness and update it as necessary. We will continue to monitor our supply chain practices and report on our progress toward eliminating modern slavery.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with this policy or any instances of modern slavery identified within our supply chain will lead to a thorough investigation. Suppliers found in violation may face penalties, including the termination of contracts and the reporting of the issue to relevant authorities.
